When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. Farr 2 is a fast paced 28 bed acute care general medical unit with telemetry. Patient population is complex with a wide range of acute and chronic diagnoses including patients with Eating disorders, COPD, Diabetes, and Sepsis. Patient’s often have multiple medical comorbidities as well as complex social and/or psychiatric disorders. Patients with varied ages ranging from 18-100’s. One must be able to work as part of an energetic team on this busy unit. Candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills, be adaptable, and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Farr 2 fosters a culture of mutual respect and collaboration. Utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse and provides direct nursing care to patients and families.
