The Department of Pharmacy at Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Emergency Medicine to join our team. This pharmacist will be working decentralized in the Emergency Department to support an expansion in ED Pharmacy coverage, working with a medication reconciliation technician, respond to code/stroke events in the ED, and will have teaching opportunities within our Pharmacy Residency Program. This position will operate on a predominantly Monday-Friday schedule, with rotating weekends/holidays, and overnight coverage as needed. Pharmacists work closely with other health care practitioners to meet the various needs of our patients. Pharmacists review and approve medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and provide drug information. They improve the health of patients by providing pharmaceutical care to individual patients and by serving as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
