WSP is initiating a search for an Intermediate Traffic Engineer! This position will sit out of Atlanta, GA. This Opportunity: Provides technical assistance and guidance for the analysis, improvement, planning, engineering, design, and operation of streets and highways, their networks, adjacent land uses, and interaction with other modes of transportation and their terminals. Generates accurate and concise reports and documentation regarding construction specifications. Ensuring that duties are performed and maintained with quality that matches or surpasses industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. The chosen candidate will collaborate with transportation engineers on some of Georgia’s largest and most complex transportation projects. Technical tasks include traffic signal design, system timing for signals, ITS and signal system planning, as well as various traffic engineering services. Additional responsibilities may cover signing design and pavement marking design.
