Job description
Description The Arizona Cancer Evolution (ACE) Center at Arizona State University is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow in bioinformatics/computational biology/systems biology. Ideal candidates would have expertise in developing packages to analyze genomic DNA, RNA, methylation, and immune receptor (TCR/BCR) data, particularly from cancer samples, as well as expertise in evolution. Research experiences in machine/deep learning is a plus. The postdoc will have access to all of the ACE data, the Human Tumor Atlas Network data, and new data from the ~1,000 participants in the ARPH-H ADAPT clinical trial. The postdoc will be co-mentored by Drs. Carlo Maley and Heewook Lee, and will be supported in developing their own independent research program. Funding is available for 3 years with the potential for renewal. Essential Duties: - Analysis of genomic data (DNA, RNA and methylation) from cancers and other tissues. - Setting up bioinformatics pipelines to measure evolutionary and ecological parameters of tumor samples - Developing algorithms and pipelines to calculate HLA type and measures of T-cell receptor repertoire - Running those pipelines on -omic data (DNA, RNA and methylation) gene...
