Description The position is responsible for overseeing all DOT, and Health & Safety compliance for Federal, State and Local regulations. - Lead and oversee all aspects of development, implementation, and management of the Company’s DOT Trucking Compliance Programs, including CMV Files, DOT Driver Qualification Files, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, etc. - Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and OSHA - Works with various department heads to ensure work procedures and policies are followed to maintain a safe working environment - Keep abreast of any changes in the laws surrounding the industry - Works HR and Dispatchers and provides input in yearly Driver Evaluations (in all markets) - Works with dispatch on hiring and termination of drivers - Works with driver trainers to assure proper training is being taught - Assist in general terminal management to ensure compliance and accountability measures are met - Investigate all accidents - Report claims that require the insurance company to be involved - Manage Tank Compliance and any foreseeable tank issues. - Inspections and repairs for NEL and GLP facilities - Facilitate and perform inspecti...
