Job description

This position is full time, days, at University Hospital. Supports the radiation therapy department by providing a full range of physics services including, but not limited to dosimetry, treatment planning, and quality assurance activities. Designs treatment plans with optimal beam geometry in accordance with the Radiation Oncologists prescription. Accurately contours organs and other dose limiting structures. Assumes proficiency in image registration with various image data sets. Communicates, assists, and advises the Radiation Therapist in simulations, fabrication of custom devices, and implementation of the treatment plan. Performs calculations for accurate delivery of the prescribe dose. Documents all pertinent information in the patient record.
