The Oncology Social Worker provides cancer patients and their families with comprehensive psychosocial support services and relevant counseling (crisis, adaptation, rehabilitation, bereavement, etc.). JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conducts comprehensive and ongoing psychosocial assessment and intervention for individuals with cancer and their family members. - Facilitates referral/access to community agencies, support services, and programs. - Provides short term counseling for patients and/or family members. - Provides guidance in accessing resources for practical needs such as transportation, insurance, financial assistance, disability, medical leave, durable medical equipment, personal c...
