Description Position Summary: The Outpatient Registrar/Receptionist registers patients in the setting of Grace Cottage Hospital and Family Health Outpatient Services; following approved policies and obtaining required information. The Registrar greets and directs patients and family members in a friendly and helpful manner. Qualifications: Education/ Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Proficient computer skills required. Other Requirements: Previous experience working in a clinical setting and/or experience with scheduling software is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance is desirable. Excellent customer service skills. Maintains a cooperative professional working relationship with staff including but not limited to medical staff, and other departments, as well as outside agencies, community members and our patients. - Ability to work independently carrying out various activities with minimal supervision.
