Summary: The improvement specialist functions as a leader and experienced facilitator for all aspects of Lean implementation across the Guthrie system. Critical functions include the following but not limited to; leading entity and system cross-departmental improvement initiatives and partnerships with leader stakeholders to identifying new operational or strategic opportunities for improvement or redesign. Participates and helps drive the Objective and Key Results management process for the Guthrie System. Actively leads professional growth and development of internal improvement team members in collaboration with the Director and training educator. Experience: Education: Master’s degree in health care administration, Nursing, Business, Industrial Engineering, or another related field preferred. Combination of experience, education and specialty certifications will be considered in leu of degree. Licenses: - Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience with process improvement at an enterprise level. - Experience in driving Lean initiatives and/or Objectives and Key Results (OKR) with demonstrated sustainment.
