Job Overview The Sr. Test Engineer researches, designs, develops, tests, documents, and supports software and interface hardware for testing products manufactured for the electric utility industry. #LI-CH1 A Day In The Life: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are as follows; other duties may be assigned: What will help you thrive in this role? - Analyze product hardware and firmware to formulate a test plan to verify design requirements and maximize test coverage. - Review new designs and specifications and provide feedback based on testability. - Perform cost/benefit analysis to determine desired level of automation - Design and develop test interface hardware necessary for rapid and reliable connection to the device under test. - Design and develop test software to control product, instrumentation, and test systems needed to exercise and measure products performance to design requirements specification - Record and analyze critical to quality performance metrics.
