Job description

Job Description Summary: To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order. Responsibilities: - Perform instructions outlined in the Production Manuals for Production Assistants - Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks - Assist operators as needed to minimize downtime during cleanups and maintenance - Weigh and package rolls according to specifications and instructions provided on work order paperwork - Thread Line - Use and complete paperwork - Understand and follow quality specifications - Do Q.A. clean-up - Perform housekeeping duties on and around the line - Maintain neat and clear aisles for product transfer and safety - Adherence to company policies and procedures Requirements: - Takes reasonable care for their own health and safety - Takes reasonable care for the health and safety of others - Authorized to stop work when a perceived unsafe condition or behavior may result in an unwanted event - Understands and actively participates in the company’s EHS policy, goals, and objectives - Must know how to read and use a tape measure and we...
