As a Registered Pharmacist you will contribute to a positive patient experience by providing quality service in a busy inpatient pharmacy. You will be responsible for: - Reviewing and interpreting physician orders for in-patients using patient profiles to ensure that overdoses have not been prescribed and that incompatibilities or toxic compounds will not result from combining ingredients. Contacts and confers with physician if there are any irregularities regarding prescriptions and documents clinical interventions. - Ensuring medications are dispensed accurately and according to established procedure and state/federal guidelines. - Ensuring drug orders and drug information are entered accurately into the computer.
