Overview This position is supporting the NSSF SUBASE NEMMI contract by ordering materials and managing inventory required to perform Fast Attack Submarine IMA level maintenance.The responsibility of this position requires a background in Virginia and Los Angeles class submarine maintenance, overhaul and repair. Experience reading and understanding technical manuals along with instructions, military specifications and standards, blueprints, computer aided drawings, technical work documents. The candidate will also be responsible for ordering material for the shop when needed. Candidate shall have detailed knowledge in Weight Test/Rigging/Upholstery. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. Qualifications: Required: - High School Diploma or GED - 3+ years of work experience related to Submarine maintenance, overhaul and repair. Preferred: - Previous experience with planning and/or rigging and weight test - Experience with NSSF parts and material ordering systems - Experience with GCPCs and other Navy ordering methodologies - Prior JFMM experience - Experience with US Navy Supply System - Weight Test experience - Chain fall repair - 3M maintenance...
