Description The Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles. Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: - Diagnose and repair complex automotive problems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems. - Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Team Leadership: - Assign tasks to technicians based on their skills and experience. - Provide technical guidance and support to technicians. - Monitor technician performance and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Train and develop technicians to improve their skills. Customer Service: - Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs. - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service. Administrative Tasks: Other duties as assigned. - Complete necessary paperwork, including repair orders and work estimates. - Manage inventory of parts and supplies. - Maintain a clean and organized work area.
