Are you passionate about womenswear knit design? Are you obsessed with designing and engineering the perfect closet staples? We're looking for highly qualified designers to join our Design Team! Qualifications: - Direct report to VP of Product & Design. - Work with head of department to concept and develop Buck Mason knit collection. - Conduct fabric, color, fit, and wash research for seasonal concepts. - Execute technical sketches for initial technical packages. - Attend fittings and update all design and development information. - Work with manufacturing partners to execute product through concept, development, wash, and finishing. - 5+ years domestic and import womenswear knit experience. - Expert knowledge of yarn and knit construction. - Expert knowledge of garment wash, dye, and processing. - Expert knowledge of fabric development. - Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite. - Excellent knowledge of market trends and creative direction. - Excellent knowledge of vintage womenswear, military and utilitarian detailing.
