Biomed Equipment Worker (entry) - Biomedical Engineering-Mount Sinai Morningside-Full Time/Days- 7am-3pm Moves equipment, in need of repair or preventive maintenance, from user areas to Biomedical Engineering facilities Requirements: - Moves equipment, which has received service, from Biomedical Engineering facilities to user areas - Cleans equipment, including, but not limited to, exterior surfaces, wheel sand casters, IV poles, cases, filters, and stands and mounting brackets - Performs electrical safety tests, including all necessary documentation, on all equipment serviced by the Biomedical Engineering department - Performs simple repairs, including, but not limited to, power plug and line cord replacement and mechanical work - HS Diploma/GED - Minimum of three years experience in biomedical position required.
