Floor Houseperson Position Summary: The Floor Houseperson plays a key support role within the Housekeeping team by ensuring Guest Room Attendants are fully supplied and assisted throughout the day. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and well‑stocked hallways, guest floors, and service areas, while also assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties as needed to support overall resort operations. Essential Job Functions: Floor & Public Area Support: - Maintain cleanliness of guest hallway entrances and elevator areas through regular vacuuming and upkeep - Clean, sweep, and mop stair landings and hallway floors - Dust hallway credenzas and ensure newspapers are neatly stocked - Clean and maintain vending areas - Pick up trash and soiled linens from halls and dispose of them properly - Strip spoiled or soiled linens from guest rooms after checkout when needed Housekeeping & Laundry Support: - Keep store rooms clean, organized, and well stocked - Ensure guest room glassware and coffee mugs are washed and stocked in housekeeping closets - Assist with laundry services as needed - Notify supervisors of supply shortages or inventory needs - Check vacuum cleaners...
