Job description

Job Summary Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Orientation Program Coordinator will lead the coordination of transition programs for first-year and transfer students, with specific focus on orientation planning and student leader development. The Coordinator will also assist with the organization and execution of new students and assist with parent/family orientation programs, which introduce incoming students and their family members to the university community and its resources, policies, and procedures. The Coordinator will also lead administrative initiatives for the department including Spartan Link Online Orientation, social media and website management. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Assistant Director to design and implement orientation programs offered to new students prior to the beginning of each semester. - Support programmatic efforts during First year and Transfer Orientation, including but not limited to set up, leading Orientation Leader debrief meetings, providing effective customer service to all participants, and facilitation of sessions. - Help coordinate the scheduling of events by making arrangements...
