Watershed Engineer Department: Water/Wastewater: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Jackson, MS: Description: Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Watershed Engineer to join our team. This role will support a variety of watershed planning, stormwater, drainage, and water resources projects for municipal, state, federal, and private clients across the region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in hydrology and hydraulics while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that improve infrastructure resiliency and support long-term community growth. Key Responsibilities: - Support watershed planning, stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering projects from concept through construction - Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for watershed studies, drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, floodplain analysis, and resiliency projects - Prepare technical reports, drainage studies, calculations, exhibits, and construction documents for municipal, transportation, and land development projects - Assist with watershed master planning efforts, flood mitigation studies, erosion and sediment control des...
