Ultrasound Technician Department: Clinic Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: 208 N Garfield Ave, Monterey Park, CA 91754 Compensation: $28.00 - $45.00 / hour Description: Astrana Health is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technician to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports timely, accurate patient care. Our Values: - Patients First - Empowering the Independent Provider - Be Innovative - Operate with Integrity & Deliver Excellence - Team of One What You'll Do: - Review the referring order and patient’s medical history to identify the specific body parts that require imaging. - Review ultrasound patients screening form prior procedure - If there is any uncertainty regarding the adequacy of the study, consult with a radiologist or a senior technologist prior to proceeding - Provide a detailed explanation of the test to patients, outlining what they can expect during the examination - Properly position patients and applying gel to the scan area for ultrasound scans using immobilization and protective equipment or support devices to ensure the safety of patients and staff, while also monitor patient’ s well-being during...
