The scope of your role: As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will take part in the process of designing, developing, and improving database-related platform capabilities used across modern financial systems. You will develop and improve reliable, secure, and scalable database solutions in AWS, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and AWS-managed database services. You will have an impact on our platform and engineering standards by working closely with development teams and supporting them with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and AWS databases. You will work on database performance, reliability, backup and recovery, and security, while also contributing to the broader platform engineering landscape in a T-shaped engineering environment.
