Job Description Job Description: Machine Operator I: Downstream Operator: Salary Grade: Hourly: Basic Function: Safely and effectively operate downstream equipment (including boxmakers, palletizers, robots and any other related machinery) in accordance with production requirements. The Operator will ensure efficient and effective operation of machinery in the area for a high quality finished product. Troubleshoot problems and clear jams to maintain operational efficiency and quality. Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers to maintain production flow and respond to changes in production schedule. Essential Function and Responsibilities: Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the shift Production Supervisor. - Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with Company standards. - Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) as documented in the policy. - Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and as stated in the various safety-related training programs.
