Flexographic Printing Press Operator Location: Lenexa, KS: Shift: 12‑Hour Night Shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) Schedule: Alternating weekly rotation - start night indicated below - Week 1: Sunday-Monday-Tuesday - Week 2: Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday - Week 3: Sunday-Monday – Wednesday–Thursday About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Press Operator to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently preparing, operating, and maintaining high‑speed printing press equipment to produce quality‑printed film products. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production efficiency, product quality, food safety compliance, and workplace safety in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. What You Will Do: - Prepare the press and all job components, including anilox rolls, ink, film, and plates - Read and interpret job specification sheets to determine color and print requirements - Adjust and fine‑tune anilox rolls, plates, and ink flow to ensure proper ink application - Measure and verify print quality to ensure jobs meet specifications - Check UPC codes for accuracy - Monitor ink color using X‑Rite...
