Annual Pay Range: $36k-$75k depending on sales and experience Purpose: The Parts Counterperson sells automotive parts at retail to customers over the counter, through the shop, or by phone. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion products, and offer specials. - Pull purchases from stock, determine availability for out-of-stock items, and submit emergency orders as requested. - Answer phone calls to provide price quotes, information, and support to outside sales representatives and customers. - Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up. - Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs and process repair order envelopes for new orders. - Order parts not in stock after discussion with Shop Foreman to ens...
