This position is responsible for servicing kitchen exhaust systems by removing grease that has accumulated inside the ducts, hoods, fans and vents of exhaust systems of commercial kitchens. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The set-up and take-down of equipment, including hanging plastic sheeting, mixing chemicals, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses Power wash commercial kitchen exhaust systems to include hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans per company and industry standards while protecting customers’ facility and equipment. Pre-scrape greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems Meet the cleaning standards as outlined in NFPA 96 Final clean-up in kitchens by wiping down the hoods, mopping up the floors, etc. Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner Protect and maintain company equipment.
