Minimum Pay Rate: $141,128.00 Maximum Pay Rate: $186,929.60: Civil Service Status: Civil Service: Apply by Date: 03/11/2026: Posting Type: Open: As the Supervisor of Health and Safety at Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) you will help us reach our health and safety goals leading to World-Class safety. In this job, you will provide leadership and support for field forces, office and professionals for safety and compliance efforts. You will lead in the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety programs, standards, and processes, to protect the health and safety of our employees. Purpose: To supervise the planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) programs, including the Safety, Loss Control/Prevention, Occupational Health and Environmental/Hazardous Materials Management programs, and related processes of each District unit to ensure proactive protection of employee, the public and the environment and District compliance with governmental regulations and codes.
