Job Overview: The Commissioning Mechanical Piping Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Commissioning discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Commissioning discipline. The Commissioning Mechanical Piping Specialist solves complex problems and uses their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. They impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Commissioning team and other related teams and ensure that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Report to the Commissioning Manager and provide support to the Principal Commissioning Engineer in the preparation of home office deliverables - At the site, the Senior Commissioning Engineer will participate in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical & instrument component issues that can arise on the project - Work collaboration within the Project team and with the Client to maintain positive r...
