About the role We are seeking a proactive and motivated Paralegal to join our Disputes & Insolvency team in Brisbane. We’re open to this role being full time or part time, with flexibility for a part time hours arrangement. You will work closely with experienced Principals and solicitors on a broad range of commercial litigation and insolvency matters, supporting some of the firm’s key clients. Based in our Brisbane Head Office, this is a great opportunity to further develop your litigation skills within a collaborative and fast paced practice. Working as part of a high performing team, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting solicitors with debt recovery and insolvency matters, including winding up applications, creditor petitions and bankruptcy notices - Conducting legal research and preparing draft correspondence, pleadings and affidavits - Managing matter documentation and maintaining accurate and up to date electronic files - Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, external solicitors and other stakeholders - General file and practice support, including file openings and closures, bring ups and end of month billing - Providing support across the team as required About...
