Job Summary Ithaca College is looking for students on campus to join our team and officiate Intramural Sporting events. As an official you will be asked to enforce the rules of that sport fairly and ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for participants. Ithaca Intramurals offers sports that include Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Soccer, and many more. Come join a team of passionate and fun students that love officiating here at Ithaca College! Responsibilities: Attend mandatory training of sport to ensure shifts throughout the season. Enforce rules and Intramural policies during your shifts of Intramural games and tournaments. Stay updated with rule interpretations, policies, and staff updates to ensure rules are being applied consistently throughout league play. Effectively communicate with players, colleagues, and supervisors regarding game schedules, rule interpretations, and disciplinary actions. Prioritize the safety of all participants by monitoring game conditions and enforcing safety protocols. Encourage good sportsmanship and ethical behavior among participants.
