Overview Selux, in Highland, is currently accepting applications for an Assembly Technician . Pay rate: $18.00-$18.50/hour: Assemblers use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment. Indidviduals will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble mechanical and electrical parts with the team. Responsibilities: - Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination. - Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change. - Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow. - Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes. - Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations. - Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process. - Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures. - Provide hands on j...
