The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital is looking to hire a full-time oral and maxillofacial pathologist to join a large group of Anatomic Pathologists. This is a blended clinical and academic position, requiring the successful applicant to provide diagnostic support and consultative expertise. This is a busy service, with significant teaching responsibilities: Vancouver General Hospital serves as a training centre for Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology (OMOP), Pathology, and Dermatology residents and Head and Neck fellows; the successful candidate will also participate in teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, and in administrative tasks, including quality management, committee work and collaboration in health authority initiatives.
