Job description

Position Summary: The Planner/Scheduler/Buyer position supports the Materials Management Team by placing purchase orders for production by monitoring the customer demand, creating and releasing orders, ensuring the timely receipt of the order, and supporting the replenishment process. This role conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with company policies & SOPs, Zoetis values, & global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines, as appropriate, etc. Position Responsibilities: - Create purchase orders according to system demands. - Monitor system demands and communicate supply availability with internal and external customers. Troubleshoot any anomalies (e.g., trends) and work with team members to determine how to address them. - Run inventory reports and prepare days on hand reports. - Participate in OpEx projects. - Ensure the timely release of batches through coordination with Quality, and other departments (e.g., tracking and assisting prioritization of Event Tracking System closure). - Support unplanned event management (e.g., events that affect material flow across two or more rhythm cycles). - Arrange for proper moni...
