Title: Ready to Work Program Salary Range: $12.00/hr: Standard Hours: Varies: Work Location: On-Site: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: College: Maysville Community & Technical College Department: Ready to Work: Job Summary: The work-study component of Ready to Work provides work opportunities on both on-campus and off-campus through work-study programs. Students in the programs gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP benefits. The placement of work-study students with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace by allowing them to gain work experience, job retention skills and earn extra income. Job Duties: Types of Jobs: RTW Program On-campus: working in student service offices, labs, building maintenance and various other campus departments. Off-campus: working in local elementary schools, small businesses, non-profit businesses, and various community service positions. Minimum Qualifications: RTW Program To be eligible for the Ready to Work Program, students must be enrolled in school and receive K-TAP benefits.
