Department: 02190 GCMG Urgent Care: Cabarrus - Immediate Care Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Requires to work five 12 hours shifts within a 6-week scheduling period, and 1 weekend day within those 5 shifts. Also required to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Must have Weekday availability. Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.
