THE SALVATION ARMY NORTH & CENTRAL ILLINOIS DIVISION: CHICAGO TEMPLE CORPS: POSITION DESCRIPTION: POSITION TITLE: Custodian/Driver: LOCATION/DEPT: Chicago Temple Corps: REPORTS TO: Corps Officers: FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt: STATUS TYPE: RPT: PAY GRADE: 402: PAY RANGE: $17.00 – $20.40: OUTCOMES: Coordination is given to onsite rentals and cleanliness of the Corps. This position is important as this allows a consistent source of revenue to be maintained for the Corps. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance: - Complete cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis. - Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, including regular cleaning and restocking of soap and paper products. - Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly. - Clean windows and mirrors on a scheduled basis. - Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the building. - Consistently uphold the overall cleanliness and appearance of the Corps facility by following this schedule. - Will maintain janitorial supplies and equipment.
