Position Summary - Days, Per Diem, Variable days. Office hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Responsible for daily operations of the ultrasound department, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment. Responsible for the independent operation of diagnostic medical equipment to expose various Ob/Gyn conditions, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. Key Responsibilities: - Prepares patients for examinations and explain procedures to patients while performing studies. - Correlation of the clinical history with the test to be performed. - Consults with the referring physician regarding patient’s pervious history and decision of appropriate ultrasound procedure required when necessary. - Performs ultrasound studies for a variety of conditions...
