Description YMCA of NATRONA COUNTY JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Lead Summer Camp Counselor Leadership Level: Leader: FLSA Status: Full time/Seasonal: Revision Date: 03/21/2026: Reports to: Summer Camp Director: Primary Function/Department: Youth Development: Salary: $12.00-$15.00 per hour: POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA of Natrona County maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals, promotes the potential of all youth, and provides a quality experience to both youth and their families. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a safe, clean summer program site; ensuring a high level of program quality and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor will provide a positive role model to youth within the philosophy of YMCA standards and expectations with an emphasis on youth development and healthy living.
