Provides competent compassionate care based on scientific principles Cares for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive procedures in the Department(s): Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) as detailed below. Recognizes changes in patient status and reports to primary nurse and/or attending physician Provides necessary interventions to/for the patient as allowed by state regulations and by the direction of the attending physician. Acquires/maintains competency in radiation safety principles Collaborates with physicians, registered nurses, other technologists, and perfusionists regarding individualized patient plan of care Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal and communication skills Acquires/maintains competency in use of the electronic medical record Responsible for re-stocking of equipment and supplies. Will reorder additional items as needed for the department and procedures. Responsible for charging supplies and procedures to each patient account after each procedure.
