JVIC- Material Control Coordinator

Job description

The Material Control Coordinator is an analytical professional that performs the creation & maintenance of the Bills of Material. This position is integral in the planning & support of Advanced Work Packaging by providing project personnel with constraint and material readiness. Coordinate / Communicate directly with Work Face Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, and Expediting to collect necessary Bills of Material detail and work package attributes. Revise & populate Bills of Material data in the Material Management System (MMS): Support the data analysis for construction planning meetings and be prepared to support/explain the results. Perform & oversee the pick ticket creation and issuing of material within the Material Management System (MMS) Generate reports for project team to include forecast of work package requirements. Continuously review Material Readiness look ahead reports and provide status to project team to eliminate material constraints.
