Description Indian Rocks Church and Christian School is seeking a dedicated part-time School Traffic Guard. Under the general direction of the security team, this position performs routine work assisting with school traffic flow during daily school drop-off and pick-up to improve efficiency and help prevent hazardous traffic situations. - Student Safety: Assures the safety of students and parents in high-traffic areas. - Traffic Monitoring: Monitors street crossings during the hours when students are going to and from school. - Scan & Monitor Safety: Maintain alertness for speeding or reckless vehicles, particularly in busy drop-off/pick-up lanes. - Report Incidents: Record and report violating motorists (e.g., speeding, illegal turns) and unsafe conditions to supervisors. - School Zone Management: Sets out and removes cones and signage in designated school zone areas. - Attendance: Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of the position.
