Staff Accountant Location: Warsaw, IN: Pay: $26.42 - 31-96 per hour (based on experience) Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Summary: The Staff Accountant assists the Senior Staff Accountant, Network Controller, Director of Finance, and CFAO with general accounting procedures. This position is responsible for assisting in month-end close and reporting, performing a variety of tasks such as assisting with the budget process, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, assisting with payroll, and communicating with outside parties. Qualifications: Benefits: - Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between GL and Subsidiary Ledger. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and reports according to deadlines. - Reconcile and record transactions to appropriate accounts. - Assist in the preparation of group home cost reports. - Prepare schedules for external auditors and communicate with confidence and tact. - Understand and apply GAAP and GAAS principles. - Assist fiscal leadership in completing other projects as assigned. - Maintain and reconcile monthly Fixed Asset schedules. - Must be at least 18 years old. - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a re...
