Maintenance Manager

Job description

Purpose of Role The role of the Maintenance Manager is to increase overall equipment efficiency of plastic injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, automation, and the plant facility. This individual will manage the preventative maintenance program, perform reactive repairs, and implement permanent solutions to recurring issues. This role manages a team of maintenance professionals while prioritizing the safety of his team and working cross functionally with all departments within the plant. Areas of Accountabilities: Maintain building, facilities, and manufacturing equipment - Manage the repair, upkeep, and refurbishment of all associated manufacturing equipment (large tonnage injection molding machines, molds, robots, decorating equipment, additional support and auxiliary equipment, etc.). - Manage contractors as needed to perform specialized work inside the plant and maintain the plant facility and office space. - Oversee implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance processes and execute the preventative maintenance program to national expectations. - Set goals and strategy for the maintenance department aligned with KPI’s and continuous improvement goals. - M...
