Job description

The Clinic Nurse Manager is accountable for the quality of patient care, operational efficiency, and human resources management for assigned area(s). The Manager provides leadership and guidance to Medical Assistants (MAs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and other clinical and administrative staff supporting clinic operations, and performs complex administrative and clinical duties as required. The Manager serves as a primary point of contact for physicians, staff, patients, and external departments to address issues requiring resolution, and assists with the overall management of clinic operations. The role includes serving as the primary competency validator and educator for clinical staff and overseeing complex, independent problem-solving. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, the RN Manager may provide direct outpatient care when necessary, utilizing the nursing process to support patients and families.
