Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $60.75/Hr. - CAD $87.33/Hr. Summary: Reporting to the Director, Occupational Health and Safety, the Senior Manager, Safety and Prevention: - Develops, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for the Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Violence Prevention, and Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention programs in alignment with the strategic goals and objective of Providence Health Care (PHC). - Develops and administers the implementation of safety and prevention programs, initiatives and services aimed at promoting a proactively healthy and safe environment for staff, volunteers, physicians, visitors and patients/residents while ensuring compliance with and interpreting legislation, organizational policies and standards, collective agreements and other legal obligations of PHC to ensure consistent and accurate application/administration. - Oversees the Safety & Hygiene, Violence Prevention, and MSIP teams and leads the development and implementation of PHC safety policies, programs and services and develops effective employee event reporting systems. - Manages the interface between PHC, WorkSafe BC, Doctors of BC, Radiation Safety Board, Oc...
