You will either work five 8-hour shifts 7a-3:30pm or three 12-hour shifts from 7a-7p based on department needs. Lead position does require 3 years' Telemetry Tech experience. Job Summary: Ensures continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms by observing cardiac monitors; maintains all records and reports of rhythm strips in accordance with the established nursing standards and procedures. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Assesses and provides input to leadership team regarding supply stock levels/equipment in keeping with patient care needs and cost containment. Utilizes time and supplies economically and conscientiously. - Assists with orientation/cross-training of new personnel on the unit. Acts as a mentor and/or resource person to new or developing employees. Maintains and enhances arrhythmia analysis skills by participation in education activities.
