AmpThink is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structured Cabling Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead on installing and maintaining structured cabling systems across a variety of high-profile venues and stadiums. As a Senior Technician, you will also mentor junior technicians and ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards and within deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the installation and termination of copper and fiber optic cabling including Cat5e, Cat6, and multimode fiber. - Conduct site surveys to assess cabling needs and prepare reports for project planning. - Supervise and train junior cabling technicians, providing direction and guidance. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for cabling installations. - Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues swiftly and efficiently. - Document progress and changes to cabling infrastructure throughout project execution. - Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
