About the Role As a Designer – Decorative Accessories, you will design and develop products consistent with seasonal trends and concepts, and customer/business needs. Under the leadership of senior team members, you will own the development process for each product from sketch to approval. You will design and manage product for the Kids Decorative Accessories categories, including, toys, mobiles, plushies, seasonal decor, storage and organization, wall art, mirrors and functional accessories. You will support the buying group’s design and development needs., identify key trends, build seasonal concepts, lead design presentations to senior management and ensure all product development deadlines and key calendar dates are met. Responsibilities: - Through clear understanding of design vision and business objectives, guide the design and development process from initial concept through approval. This means: - Gather relevant inspiration reference based on design direction. - Research market for new product ideas and competitive set. - Create design renders, orthographic specs and comment forms that are clear and concise for overseas vendors. - Lead design presentations. - Assist with s...
