Title: Education Manager Department Org: Dept. of Cell and Cancer Biology - 107500 Employee Classification: J1 - Salaried Full Time HSC Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association: Primary Location: HSC C: Shift: 1: Job Description: Under general supervision from the department chair, the department administrator, and/or course directors, this position will assist in the management of multiple courses within the department. This position will also perform additional administrative duties as needed to support daily departmental operation and activities. This position will complete duties and responsibilities as described below to provide high-quality, cost-effective assistance in department administrative functions. Education/experience/licensing: Bachelor’s degree required. Associates degree and five-seven (5-7) years of office experience may be accepted in lieu of bachelor’s degree. Office experience in an educational setting required. Ability to analyze, create, and implement policies to accomplish the goals of the department and university.
