Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Banquet servers are responsible for setting up events entirely and accommodating all guests at a function while circulating the room. Anticipating and providing for the needs of the guests while upholding banquet standards and following company policies. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: - Set up event spaces; flatware, napkins, centerpieces, glassware, arranging table placement, and building buffets. - Focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds. - Delivers courses of plated meals quickly/professionally while following service standards. - Always adhere to health and safety standards. - Follows directions efficiently and maintains positivity/energy during their shifts. - Complete their tasks in a timely manner and check out with the supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift. - ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED - Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent - Certificate(s) or License(s): Upon onboarding you must obtain food handlers and alcohol servsafe certificates.
