Description SUMMARY: Conduct HIV testing and counseling, health education, outreach, and recruitment activities for one or more of the projects and initiatives of the PRCC Public Health Initiative program. Position is part-time, contingent upon grant funding. Working hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the target population, in the areas of Cook Suburbs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Engages clients and provides HIV testing and counseling services to Latinx and African American men who have sex with men (MSM). ? Provides HIV prevention information and referral services to the target populations citywide. ? Completes testing material inventory on a weekly basis. ? Prepares and submits testing material orders to the supervisor on a weekly basis. ? Distributes safer sex information and supplies. ? Distributes harm-reduction kits. ? Schedule and conduct educational sessions on safer sex behavior and skill-building for healthy living. ? Completes required program paperwork and client’s form according to program policies and procedures with great attention to detail. ?
